Bayly Auto opened on this block in 1962. Frank's grandfather started the shop with one bay and a creeper. Frank's father added a second bay in 1971. Frank took over in 1987 and added the third.
Mason joined in 2019 after four years at a dealer service department. He had enough of being told what to upsell. He came to Bayly Auto for the opposite reason most people stay: there is no script to follow.
We only do mechanical work. No body shop. No detailing. No towing. We do not modify exhausts past replacement. We do not paint anything. We do not service ceramic brake systems found on some EVs.
We open at 8 in the morning. We close at 5 except Saturday when we close at 1. If you need an estimate, call the shop or use the form. If you want to drop the car off, the slot for keys is around back.

Owner. Third-generation mechanic.
Frank took over Bayly Auto from his father in 1987. His grandfather started the shop on the same block in 1962. Frank does most of the diagnostics, talks to every customer at drop-off, and writes up the work orders himself. He learned the trade by watching his dad. He has no plans to retire.
